Project Details
A vibrant seven-color design of the East Coast Cobras logo, proudly representing our family’s racing team, served as the centerpiece of this project. I began by sandblasting the steel canteens, though not entirely, as the existing coating was stubborn and difficult to remove. Following this, I degreased the canteens by soaking them in acetone for 15 minutes and then off-gassed them to ensure proper surface preparation. The logo, which I originally created over a decade ago in Illustrator, needed refining and pre-pressing for the plotter. Aligning the stencils and achieving clean, straight edges proved to be the most challenging part. Seven colors were carefully applied to bring the design to life, and in the end, I think both my brother and dad were happy with the final outcome.01.
